About the artist
Legendary British record producer Mike Vernon founded this harmonica-heavy Chicago Blues band in Spain early 2022 together with Kid Carlos Moreno, the guitarist who was with him in Mike Vernon & The Mighty Combo, and harmonica player Domingo Balaguer. Augmented by Oriol Fontanals on upright bass and drummer Pascual Monge, the band released their debut CD "Blues What Am" in October 2023. In early 2025 Vernon announced a second album to be in the making by presenting excerpts from a newly recorded track, but since his death in March 2026 sadly nothing more has been heard of the band or a possible second CD release.
