About the artist
UK jazz/fusion band of the late 1970s, created in 1975 by two ex-members of Isotope after the clash of the first line-up of this band. Turning Point's goal was to play a jazz-rock/fusion music in a very similar vein to Isotope, but also with hints of Canterbury sound. They toured the UK, including supporting National Health in 1977. Their final tour in 1980 included Allan Holdsworth, Neil Ardley and Gary Husband. Turning Point ceased to exist short afterwards.
Pepi Lemer - female vocals
Jeff Clyne - bass guitar (ex-Isotope)
Brian Miller - acoustic & electric piano, synthesizer (ex-Isotope)
Dave Tidball - tenor & soprano saxophone
Paul Robinson - drums, percussion
